The Ozarks outdoors... there is enchantment here. There is poetry. And there are nonstop lessons and complimentary educational prompts for the parent and educator everywhere you look.
I grew up encouraged with a variety of adages. One of which comes to mind regarding conservation efforts is, “a good tide raises all ships.”
Do not hesitate to plant in the fall! This is the best time to plant perennial forbs.
In June we celebrate National Pollinators Week. In 2007 the US Dept. of Agriculture and the US Dept. of the Interior set aside this week to celebrate pollinators and spread the word about what each of us can do to protect them.
