As volunteers who are passionate about nature and conservation, we are always doing things for our community. We volunteer our time at nature centers doing anything that needs done. We teach others about nature and the environment. We engage in citizen science based projects such as wildlife and plant surveys.

Some of the things we have helped out with include:

  • Carver Days at George Washington Carver National Monument

  • Prairie Days at George Washington Carver National Monument

  • Prairie Jubilee at Prairie State Park

  • Kids’ Fishing Days

  • Missouri Prairie Foundation’s Bio Blitz

  • Shoal Creek Water Festival

  • Educating children and adults about nature and conservation through various projects

  • Planting & Watering Trees in Joplin

  • Help plant and maintain Butterfly Garden located in Cunningham Park in rememberance of the May 22, 2011 Tornado

  • Trash pickup and water quality monitoring with the Missouri Stream Team
