Native plant rain and water gardens have many community and wildlife benefits. MO Stream Team program promotes them because they slow water runoff after a storm or high intensity rainfall event; come and see what might work on your site. This naturescaping style does not use lawn chemicals, fertilizers, or pesticides so it helps protect our watersheds. An additional advantage is it can provide a beautiful habitat for a variety of beneficial pollinators, amphibians, hummingbirds and several songbirds. We will introduce some easy steps to get started.
